Monica is a dear, friend and cosplayer, loves Lara Croft, She has been a huge
supporter of others throughout the years proving so loyal to her friends in the
community, She does so much for the morale, confidence and self esteem of
everyone . She requested to be featured, and how can I refuse such a nice girl
:)
I really think that people like her should be rewarded for being so nice
and sweet to others. So here is her interview :)

1- Tell us about yourself.
I’m Monica Silva, was born on 18/02/1982 and I’m from Portugal, unemployed and
single. |

2- why do you cosplay Lara, what does it mean to you?
I love cosplaying Lara Croft. It feels like I’m her. A strong woman who does
everything to get what she wants.
3- how did you first hear about Lara?
The 1st time I heard about her, was 15 years ago, when I start playing the Tomb
Raider I game. |

4- How long have you been a Lara fan?
Since I start playing the Tomb Raider I game, on Sega Saturn, 15 years ago.
5- when did you get into cosplay?
After I saw the Tomb Raider I movie. Fall in love with it, especially the guns,
and the belt and holsters. |

6- how do you assemble your outfits?
Always the black shorts, black t-shirt, long boots, the black and large
bracelet, belt and rig holsters and the twin guns.
7- Favourite TR outfit
First Tomb Raider movie... Always.
8- Favourite TR game
I love 4 of them: Last Revelation, Chronicles, Legend and Underworld. But my
favourite of all is Tomb Raider Underworld. |

9- what is your favourite boss fight/puzzle in your favourite game?
The 4 doors in Mexico (Blades, Fire, Rocks [] [] and the simple one)
10- how do you feel about the new origins story, even though it's just the first
few images, and videos out, what do you think so far?
it’s a hard story. It will be psychologically difficult. |

11- what is the one item you would add to the croft outfit?
Already did. The sword and Chakram (from Xena).
12- who takes your photos, and what kind of equipment do you use?
I just use my digital Canon Ixux 70, and Use it on Self-timer.

13- what are your favorite qualities that Lara upholds.
Be an adventurous, her acrobatic stunts and the ability to put her enemies
KO.
14- what is your dream lara croft costume?
Snow Camo outfit and the real replica movie 1 outfit (including holsters and
guns). |

15- do you have any advice for first time cosplayers?
just pretend to be in Lara Croft’s skin with full body and soul and enjoy it.

Yes. Just want to thank every Cosplay sisters who support me and help me,

Love them, love them, love them. . |
