My name is Daniel, and i've been cosplaying for 2 years now. Like the Hulk
who's always angry, my secret is that I cosplay every day. When I suit up
for work or put on clothes for other functions I am adopting a persona for
that purpose. When I first tried cosplay I realised that through being other
characters I could publicly portray aspects of my real self. I could cosplay
as parts of me and take off the mask rather than putting one on. Lara's
determination and will to survive in 2013 really struck a chord with me,
that when you're in a bad situation and people are counting on you the only
way is forward, regardless of what the path holds. I also regularly practice
survival skills and archery, and love ancient history and exploring
different environments to find rare sights that few eyes see.
