Find a good bomber or sports type jacket pattern as your base.
If you cant embroider go on ebay and find dragon and tiger iron ons, that's what i did.
Then machine embroidered the small details I used a brown satin bias binding for the edging, which worked really well.
Then to color stains the sleeve was one color with the light gold strip sewing over it with the edging.
